Updates on all things Woo

Where to begin. I realize that I haven't posted much of anything in a long while. Best place to start is probably Cinco De Mayo.

Back story; Sally came back to KC after spending a semester in Australia and New Zealand. Daneille lives in KC. We all used to be roommates. Throw us back together in the same city at a Royals game... you get mass insanity?

I love that picture even though I look as if I am enjoying a mouth full of hair. *Delicious*

This weekend Nick, Sara, Chris, and I went camping at Hawn State Park. Before I jump into details of that adventure I must tell you about Friday night.

Friday night after driving into town we met up at Cicero's in the Loop. The best part about dinner was that we were joined by my best friend of over... many years... since 6th grade mind you, Jessica Fleaher. I have pictures but they are on Sara's camera. I hadn't seen her is about 2 years? It was like nothing have changed other than the fact that I apparently can't stay awake past 11pm (I fell asleep).

Camping was awesome. I really enjoy camping minus one big thing, the parasites. Ticks and mosquitoes are the only thing that keep me from wanting to spend every weekend camping. Lets just say that every 2-5 minutes (and I know you think I am over exaggerating but, I'm not!) any one of us found a tick crawling up our legs. We went on a nice hike then spent the evening by the fire playing cards and talking which, make up for the bug situation.

Mother's day was nice. Nick and I surprised my grandma at her house. We brought flowers, strawberries and pound cake. I got to see my parents. It was lovely.

That was the short version of everything. Sara has camping pictures because I was too lazy (as usual) to take my camera out of my purse.
