Buenvenidos a Miami

I have begun to realize that I haven't been taking this blog seriously enough in the past few months. I was off to a great start. I was posting blogs every other day giving you all up to the minute news breaks on my life... now the information has slowed to a drip once every other week.

Let me start with how I have gone well past my expiration date for leaving Columbia. It has been so easy to stay in this cozy little town; however, I have found that its coziness has worn thin. I have become the person who loathes the end of summertime because that means traffic picks up (By that I mean I have to wait behind 4 cars while on my 5 minute commute to work in the morning). I think I am this antsy because it seems a majority of my friends have moved. Ok, don't get me wrong, I like some things about Columbia. I like my job; I have great co-workers and an excellent boss. I think my brain is just starved for more information.

This brings me to topic of law school. I have put this on hold for long enough and its time that I actually go. I have been out in the real world long enough to know that its time I invest more in my future than just a bachelors degree. It looks like the number one destination for my JD program is Miami. My boyfriend, Nick, has family in Miami and plans to come with me. I personally fell in love with the city during spring break of '03. It just seems like Miami is calling out to me.
