This Thursday is off to a Grrreat start!

I don't dive into a soda in the morning until about 10 o'clock. I like to think that any earlier is a bad idea... anyway, today I decided it would be a nice day for a "FT" as Neil called it. (For those of you out of the loop that stands for Field Trip) These little FT's help make the days go by faster. My favorite place to go is the "no gas" which is this small quick-e-mart that has no gas, hence, "no gas".

The excursion began as a need for the caffeine... in the store I grabbed my coke, cheez-its, and Milky Way and then proceeded to the cash register. My friend Dave came along on the journey because, Columbia is a hot bed for bum conventions. I always get the "You are looking hot today" or classic "hey baby" whenever I head to the No Gas therefore, company is always a must.

In line I notice another guy up at the counter waiting. He is going through a purse and then looks at me. He then says "You must not be from Missouri." To which I responded with the fact that I, indeed, am from Missouri. He exclaims "I am from New York and into fashion. You know that anyone who wears all black knows what is going on." I just said thank you and he continued with "And you are of model height just like me!" the on his way out said "oh there is a piece of lent on your sweater." pulls off the lint then exclaims, "I just want to keep you looking picture perfect!"

I have to say this was my first experience with a drag queen sans drag. I had been wondering why he had a purse... very fashionable indeed.

So, I just got back from lunch and I have to say the new Chinese Buffet is AWESOME! They had these little fried triangles of tasty goodness called "Battered and Fried Mac n Cheese". I think they were sent down from heaven to bless us one and all. They were quite the taste sensation!
