Well, it's about time

I realize that I haven't really updated my blog in almost a month. It really has been quite the month. Thanksgiving happened, my car got a new timing belt(cost me over $600 to replace.. ouch), 16 inches of snow fell on Columbia closing highway 70 for half the day (and causing me to miss out on a super fun Detriot weekend with Sally), and Nick won co-Socket employee of the year.

Out of these the most exciting business is the employee of the year. Socket asked those nominated for employee of the year (those who were employee of the month were eligable) to make up a wish list of things they would want if they won. Here were the restrictions:

1.) Items could be up to $10,000 but not exceeding.
2.) Could not be exchanged for cash.

Needless to say $10,000 can be spent many different ways. Nick choose to have his 1964 Chevy Pick Up restored, a 40 inch flat pannel LCD HD TV, a Sony digital living system, an xbox 360 with gear of war, and the actual furniture to put the tv and system on. Pretty awesome. I didn't take any pictures of the holiday party because i'm lame. Sorry, I know how you were looking forward to seeing me dressed up all formal like.

He did win... it's kind of hidden in the first paragraph but, yup, he was a big winner :)
